I took this shot in Parques das Aves or "Bird Park" in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. This little gem is located just across the road from the main entrance to the Iguassu Falls Visitor Center. The Bird Park is home to a multitude of rare birds, colourful parrots, toucans and flamingos, alligators, snakes and gorgeous butterflies, in a natural jungle setting.
If you’re visiting the Iguaçu Falls, I highly recommend a leisurely stroll through the Parque das Aves to admire the birds and support their preservation. You’ll love it!

Johnston Canyon is one of the most popular day hik Johnston Canyon is one of the most popular day hikes in Banff National Park. It’s fairly easy, making it perfect for families and people of almost any fitness level and age. This shot was taken enroute to Lower Johnston Falls. The canyon here is just gorgeous- specially the contrast of the limestone cliffs against the emerald colored water is so striking.

This is the grand view of Horseshoe Bend which  i This is the grand view of Horseshoe Bend which  is a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado river located near the town of Page in Arizona.

Horseshoe Bend is accessible via hiking a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) round trip and as you can see in this photo it can be viewed from the steep cliff above. Needless to say the view is just amazing.

I enjoy taking photos of reflection specially when there is stillness in the air. It adds an element of calmness and placidity in the image.
