Day 1, May 11, 2018

( Training location Sayville NY )

Morning- We will begin the day by meeting in the classroom located in Sayville NY for a presentation during which we will be discussed in details basics of photography, composition, landscape photography and basics of photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. FYI, Sayville is about 1.5 hrs by train from NYC.

Afternoon- Visit the Fire Island for landscape photography

Day 2, May 12, 2018

(Training location Manhattan)

This day will be a mix of street, architecture, and landscape photography We will take photos of the Manhattan skyline from Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center and Brooklyn Bridge.

We will take long exposure shots of the Manhattan Skyline from Brooklyn Heights.

In the afternoon we will visit the Central Park and walk in Manhattan to see some iconic buildings and do some street photography. This includes taking photos of the famous yellow cabs of NYC.


In the evening we will take some shots of Manhattan skyline and will go to Times Square and take long exposure shots to capture the trails of lights.

This will be a long day as you will be taking photos for 9-10 hours and will be walking for 5-6 miles. Although this is a packed schedule, this will allow you to take some spectacular photos and special memories.

Day 3, May 13, 2018

We will start the day at 8:00 am – take a deep dive on photo editing and will edit the images in Lightroom and Photoshop. The class will be adjourned at noon.

Things to Bring

  1. Camera- preferably a DSLR camera DSLR, mirrorless, compact or iPhone cameras
  2. Tripod
  3. Laptop with Lightroom or other basic photo editing software
  4. Comfortable clothing
  5. Warm clothing
  6. Swimming trunk
  7. Waterproof/ jacket raincoat
  8. Comfortable shoe- moderate amount of walking
  9. External Battery Charger for cell phone

Recommended Lens:

  1. 16-35mm
  2. 24-70 mm
  3. 70-200mm
  4. Any kit lens will be also acceptable

Recommended Accessories:

  1. Circular Polarizer
  2. 10 stop ND Filter
  3. Camera Release Cable

This photography workshop involved moderate level of physical fitness.

The non-refundable deposit is calculated as 20% of the total amount payable at time of booking.
Payment of the balance is due one month before the tour commences

Cancellation policy

In case the workshop is filled, and you decide to cancel, we will refund you the full amount you paid minus $300 as service charge. In case there are still seats available for the workshop and you decide to cancel, then you will be refunded based on the following: More than 60 days to the commencement of the workshop: few will refund you the full amount minus $300 fee. 45 – 60 days: 50% refund. Less than 45 days: no refund We will refund you by the same method you originally paid for the workshop
