Itinerary:
Fly or drive to Santa Fe, New Mexico and check into Inn at the Alameda. Nestled in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico, between the historic Plaza and the art-filled galleries of Canyon Road, the Inn on the Alameda is the ideal downtown Santa Fe lodging location for the workshop.
A detailed itinerary and workshop details will be sent to you before the workshop. A rough itinerary is as follows:
- Canyon Road – famous for its art galleries and historic adobe architecture
- The Plaza – a central square surrounded by historic buildings, shops and restaurants.
- San Miguel Mission – t is considered the oldest church in the United States, and has a rich history dating back to the 1600s. The church is known for its simple, yet beautiful, adobe architecture, and its religious and cultural significance to the local community. Photographers will appreciate the warm and peaceful atmosphere of the church, and enjoy capturing the intricate details of the adobe walls, wooden beams, and religious artifacts.
- Taos Pueblo – It is considered one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the United States and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Photographers will enjoy capturing the unique architecture of the adobe homes, the intricate details of the buildings, and the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
- The Loretto Chappel- famous for intricate details of the staircase and the Chapel’s ornate interior. It’s considered a must-see site in Santa Fe.
- Santuario de Chimayo – a famous Catholic pilgrimage site with a rustic chapel and beautiful gardens.The church is a popular pilgrimage site for Catholics, who come to seek blessings and healing from the supposed sacred dirt found in the church’s altar.
- Bandelier National Monument – famous for the cliff dwellings, which were built by the Ancestral Puebloans over 800 years ago. The ruins offer a unique opportunity to see how the ancient people lived and to explore the intricate architecture of the cliff dwellings. An amazing location to capture the scenic beauty of the site, including the dramatic cliffs, the towering trees, and the intricate details of the ancient structures.

The gorge offers stunning views of the Rio Grande River and the surrounding landscape, which includes towering rock formations, towering cliffs and rolling hills. Photographers can capture stunning panoramic vistas and intimate landscape details.
13. Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument is a geological formation located near Santa Fe, New Mexico. with cone-shaped rock formations, known as tent rocks, that were created by volcanic eruptions and erosion. A great location for dramatic landscapes, intricate rock formations, and colorful canyons.
